Anyone can become a “tasker” on the site, gaining access to hundreds of potential jobs. It offers cheap, quick options for those who don’t want to go through the hassle of calling a company and getting a quote.

This app will definitely help you save time if you don’t want to spend four hours putting together Ikea furniture and fiddling with screws. If you want to avoid the hassle of calling multiple companies to find the best quote, TaskRabbit simplifies the process.
Prices are displayed at the touch of a button, and you’re put in direct contact with the tasker, cutting out the middleman. The prices that taskers charge vary greatly depending on the task.

The app has a simple layout and is extremely user-friendly. The homepage is split into clear categories, so you can quickly find the task you need to have done.
Once you fill out the task description, your location, whether a vehicle is needed, and a few other details, you receive a list of taskers who might fit the bill. You can see their descriptions and review scores from their past jobs, as well as the hourly prices they charge. From there, you contact them, and they’ll confirm whether or not they’ll complete your task. Easy!
The app doesn’t have a great reputation on Apple’s App Store, with a measly 2.7 out of five stars.
The main problem seems to be the lack of customer service. TaskRabbit promises to cover up to $1 million in property damage. However, there are many stories in the reviews of incidences in which taskers messed up and their customers were not covered. TaskRabbit has reached out to those who negatively reviewed the app in order to find a solution.

Based on the reviews on Apple’s App Store, TaskRabbit doesn’t have a very responsive customer service team. The customer service contact isn’t easy to find on the website, either. The company’s Twitter, @TaskRabbitHelp, is quite active in answering queries, though.
