What is the best way to insure a laptop? I’ve heard Apple Care isn’t very comprehensive

Assuming you are talking about theft. Let’s insure your laptop and other personal property too by getting a renter’s policy – if you rent and don’t own home – or a homeowners policy if you own. Make sure it’s with a reputable insurance company and get replacement value coverage. There is nothing worse than getting a meager amount of money (the depreciated value less your deductible) when a valuable item is stolen.

Renter’s policies are inexpensive and totally worth it. Homeowners insurance is more comprehensive than renters so it’s more expensive, but invaluable too.
