I am planning on paying graduate school tuition fees for my girlfriend of 5 years. During this time, I will be the only one of the two earning money. Since we are not married yet, I am curious whether there are any ways to make my payment (partly) tax deductible. Or is the only way for the deduction to happen by her being my legal spouse?

How should people who are in committed relationships/living together talk about money if they are not married? I feel it's impossible to keep everything separate, but does anyone have tips for navigating the gray area between joint and independent, especially just out of undergrad, when people's' finances can vary so drastically.

After I graduate from school, my girlfriend and I are planning to move in together. We want to keep finances relatively individual in order to both learn how to manage our own lives. How should we set up our bank accounts to handle bills or house expenses? If we set up a joint account, should all three accounts have both savings and checking? What about emergency funds?

Re. money and dating, how do you discuss who pays for something? I'm especially interested to hear more about how people who identify as women navigate payments on dates, offers of payment by cis-men, etc.
