In terms of filing one’s tax return – I always feel I am doing it wrong, or that I’m missing the deadline or not including all of my W-2’s. Do you have some suggestions or a fool-proof system for keeping your forms in order and filing one’s return on time?

There’s no “fool proof” solution, but tax software can be free or very cheap for 1040EZ filers, or people with just W2 income and no particular deductions.

The tax software that I like the best is H&R Block, but that’s pricy for someone with just W2 income. A lower priced software that I like is TaxAct.

All the major online Tax Software companies will allow you to prep your taxes for free online before you actually pay to file.

Good luck!

PS- I pay an accoutant.
