Be prepared to spend at least 30 minutes answering personal financial questions including your income tax information from the previous year (you should have this handy when you begin your application). You will need to complete an application prior to every school year if you wish to continue to receive aid. You will need to create an account and save your log in information for upcoming years. Once your FAFSA has been processed (this takes a few days) you will likely need to log back on to the FAFSA website and complete some additional steps, such as Loan Entrance Counselling, Master Promissory Note (MPN), etc.
