Does having multiple banks for different purposes make sense? For example, a buisness bank, a quick checking account somewhere for credit/debit purposes, and a savings account somewhere? Or is having it in one place more beneficial?

I have many different accounts across two different banks, a brick and mortar as well as an online only bank. I think it makes sense to have the minimum number of accounts that allows you to do the things you need to do. For example, if you do a lot of cash business, you might need a brick and mortar bank. If everything you do is digital, you could probably forgo that, and only have online accounts.

I have close to 10 checkings/savings accounts spread across two different accounts.
