Financial Educator

Leah Esslinger-Sprowl

I am very passionate about financial education, especially when it comes to youth.  I want to help all types of financial educators, from financial institutions, teachers, youth programs, etc., find a way to teach these important life skills as we see such a need in today’s society. I am a certified NH teacher in Finance and have taught a CTE program for the last 10 years.  I have held certifications as a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) by CUNA and a Certified Educator in Personal Finance (CEPF) from   My Associates degree is in Marketing, Social Media focused, from Southern New Hampshire University, and I am currently working on my Bachelor’s in Digital Marketing from New England College of Business. On the national level, I have served 3 plus years on the Executive Committee for the National Youth Involvement Board (NYIB) as the Treasurer and Northeast Regional Coordinator.  We connect credit unions all over the United States with financial education resources and youth marketing companies.  I also serve on the Financial Literacy Education Committee for America’s Credit Union Museum, that developed the program CU 4 Reality.
